Thank you all for the many hours of ministry which you each provide.

The Archdiocese of Portland will be requiring that ALL Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist be trained in Theology and Service practices and subsequently commissioned for a period of Three Years, renewable. Commissioning will take place in the parish on Sunday, June 3. Here at St. Patrick we are reviewing the calendar for 2, 3 dates to have these training sessions prior to June 3rd. Every one who wishes to be an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist will be required to attend whether or not they already are currently serving in this capacity. In this way we will be able to insure that all commissioned ministers have complied with the Archdiocesan standards and that those who would no longer wish to continue with this ministry are removed from the scheduling list. We will make announcements and post trainings in the bulletin.
Thank you all for the generous service you provide to our worshiping community.
Easter Blessings
